Eng Loo has over 20 years of financial experience in a wide breadth of areas, having formerly headed loan, credit control, investment and treasury departments in a large publicly listed financial institution.
His entrepreneurial spirit saw him venturing into the travel sector with the incorporation of The Traveller DMC with his partners, Yvonne Low and Grace Chong.
Eng Loo’s experience in these large financial institutions showed him that business isn’t always rosy; he has been on the other side of the fence helping these financial institutions foreclose on mortgaged properties. It is this first-hand experience on which he derives his ethos – that businesses should never be over-leveraged and that cash-flow is king. He believes that all businesses have a responsibility; that of to their shareholders and to their employees.
He has since built a thriving travel and BTMICE foundation for The Traveller DMC and continues to lead The Traveller group of companies in all aspects of Finance, IT and Strategic Corporate Development. Eng Loo has made several pivotal decisions in the life of The Traveller DMC, enabling it to grow from strength to strength and allowed for it to expand into the B2C sphere and currently into the PCO landscape.
Eng Loo completed his tertiary education in England and obtained a Masters of Science in System Analysis and Design and a Masters in Business Administration.
